I had a blastttt with April and Bobby, photographing them and their baby bump was an awesome experience for me. April and I went to high school together and it was so good to see her again and catch up. She is rockin’ the baby bump and just looks fabulous pregnant! I couldn’t get over the fact that Bobby knows the sex of the baby but April doesn’t. She wants to be surprised! I’m not sure if that arrangement would work for my husband and I. I just know I’d want to get it out of him. We met up at The Fountain Place in downtown Dallas which is absolutely stunning then drove  down the street to Deep Ellum.

I love the way her photos turned out. I really try to stay away from the traditional photos that everyone (well, not everyone but you know what I mean) does.. For example, I’m not interested in the heart over the belly button but that’s just me! I like to set up shots that are a little different and try to capture people as they are, I truly hope that shows in my work. I love normal meets grudge, interesting backgrounds and textures.

Bobby is fresh out of Army boot camp so they are packing up and headed to Kansas soon. I wish you guys all the best as you embark on this new adventure in life. I hope and pray that your baby is happy and healthy and that you enjoy your sleep now! Here’s a sneak peek from your Maternity Session….
