Are you looking for the perfect location for your engagement session, senior session,or maybe even a family/lifestyle session? You’ve come to the right place! The coolest thing about being an on-location photographer is that the world is my photography studio.
Okay, well maybe not world as of right now, but more like the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex! You may not realize it but we are surrounded by TONS of photography location options. My personal favorites just happen to be Deep Ellum, The West End, Downtown McKinney, The Cotton Mill, and really any open field will due. The thing is though, it’s not my photography session that I’m shooting here. It’s yours! You should be in control of choosing a location that fits your personality, style, theme to set the overall tone for your photos. This is the exact reason why I put my clients in control of their location. Check out my photography location idea list that I’ve created in order to make your research and decision process just a little bit easier. Click on the names to check out the location websites. If there is a money sign next to the location name then that means that an additional location fee would be required in order to schedule and shoot there. I have all of that info listed in a spreadsheet so let me know if you’d like to know how much a particular location costs. Even though the location does set the tone for your photos, don’t stress about it too much. I’ve shot ankle deep in mud at a run down barn, on top of parking garages, in grungy alley ways, junkyards, five star hotels and the list goes on. At the end of the day your photos are all about you and the emotion conveyed.
