Let me start with, I LOVE photographing Seniors! I sometimes act like I still am one (wink). It really wasn’t that long ago that I was a Senior myself. 5 years and counting.. Now that I think about it, in the blink of an eye I’ll be at my 10 year class reunion. SCARY! Where does the time go? Anyway, last week I met up with Andrew, class of 2011 from Lovejoy High School. I photographed his family last year around the holidays so I already had a good feel for his style. He is super into music and practically has a whole band set in his bedroom (his poor mother). What an amazing talent! He was a rockstar and so natural in front of the camera. We wondered through the streets of West End and Deep Ellum looking for unique places to shoot. I even found a new favorite spot on top of a parking garage overlooking some downtown buildings. I MUST return to that spot! Any takers? Someone on a bar patio yelled, “Give her Blue Steel” a quote from the movie Zoolander. I got a kick out of that one! It was great to see you guys again and good luck with your Senior year of High School! I’m always happy to have returning customers!
